Meet Hilary
I have a huge passion for supporting parents in their preparation for birth, postnatal recovery, and feeding choices. My interest in birth work came after the birth of my twin daughters and the realisation that there was so much more information I could have known. I very much believe that if I had been better prepared I could have had a much more of positive experience from a difficult pregnancy, birth and postnatal recovery. This has empowered me to find a way to support other parents in their journey to parenthood.
You can’t control everything, which I very much experienced with my pregnancy, but if I had thought more about what I could have control over it would have contributed to a less fearful birth, filled with anxiety – this is just one part of supporting parents in their preparation for birth.
Courses
I am an associated member of The Mindful Natal® and have courses & resources that are suitable for all births, from home birth to planned caesarean birth and everything in between. I prepare you for your preferred option and for navigating unexpected turns along the way.
The courses are for all paths to parenthood. This means that every single course will be different from the last because it is tailored to your needs. I am trained and supplied with inclusive and unbiased resources which gives me a wide breadth of knowledge and confidence to support everyone.
After you have completed your course there is continued support via WhatsApp. I am there to answer any questions through your pregnancy and our community is there through the online Pregnahub®. You also get access to weekly yoga classes, monthly relaxation sessions and an Ask the Midwife 1:1 chat.
